Braud’s Funnel Cake Cafe

Denette Braud is the co-founder and CEO of Braud’s Funnel Cake Cafe, Nevada’s first and only award-winning, women and minority-owned funnel cake cafe, now proudly celebrating 20 years in business. She has transformed a classic carnival treat into a gourmet dessert experience, scaling the company from a small pop-up into a successful brick-and-mortar location at Town Square and a mobile catering operation serving premier clients.

Under her leadership, Braud’s has earned numerous accolades, including Food & Beverage Magazine’s Editor’s Top Pick, Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite, Yelp “Beloved Business,” and recognition as a Top 3 restaurant in its area. The company is also a Three Square Top Crystal Cup Fundraiser and has received honors such as the SBA MicroEnterprise Business of the Year and Urban Chamber Business of the Year.

Braud’s has been featured at Wynn Resorts and serves an impressive client list, including the Las Vegas Raiders and their family, Google, Marshalls Corporate, Target, Crocs, Southwest Airlines, the Fertitta family, Boyd Gaming, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Pepsi, and more.

Denette’s personal recognitions include Vegas Magazine’s “Top 100 Women of Influence,” Real Vegas Magazine’s “Women Who Wow,” and the Urban Chamber Women in Business Award. She is also deeply committed to giving back through “Funnel Cakes for a Cause,” supporting local nonprofits and community initiatives.
