Derek Crow was born and raised in Wyoming. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, in his early 20s to be with family and seek bigger and better opportunities. Crow started working on the Las Vegas Strip at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in 2012, where he sought mentorship by some of Las Vegas’ finest. Crow later had the opportunity to open the Cromwell, Las Vegas’ only standalone boutique hotel on the strip, where he was bar lead for The Maestro of the cocktail world: Salvatore Calabrese. Outgrowing that role, Crow took an opportunity at Libertine Social inside Mandalay Bay, working and growing under The Modern Mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim. Crow has been the bar lead at Brezza inside Resorts World for the last few years, helping guide and build their beverage program and sister restaurant, Bar Zazu. By building relationships with a marketing company called Back Bar USA, he was able to break into consulting projects that included cocktail development and staff training. One project led to another and several years later, Crow was fortunate enough to start his own LLC (Iconic Beverage Concepts).
