Account Manager
Las Vegas Uber Eats
Marlou Del Barrio was born and raised in the Bay Area, where her love for community and helping others first began to take root. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in business administration and built a career in college recruiting and event planning within the tech industry. Through her journey, she uncovered the impact of building community, curating purposeful experiences, and opening doors for those around her.
When she moved to Las Vegas in 2013, Del Barrio continued her career in recruiting with MGM Resorts’ Food & Beverage division. It was there that she was introduced to Three Square Food Bank, whose mission deeply resonated with her. Volunteering with the organization became more than just service—it became a personal passion.
In 2015, Del Barrio found herself at the forefront of something new and exciting: helping Uber make its way into the Las Vegas market. As one of the city’s first brand ambassadors, she not only introduced the brand to the community, but also led the ambassador team and marketing efforts. That journey eventually led her to become one of the few account managers with Uber Eats in Nevada, a role that allowed her to live out her calling as a relationship builder and purpose connector. What made the experience even more meaningful was coming full circle with Three Square—this time as a strategic partner, leading in-app campaigns that brought greater awareness to the fight against hunger.
Del Barrio’s days are often a beautiful mix of family, community, and culture. At her son’s school, she’s the kind of mom who rolls up her sleeves, serving on the PTO board and helping spearhead fundraising initiatives. Come baseball season, you’ll usually find her in the bullpen, cheering with all her heart as a little league team mom. Her love for heritage runs just as deep—she gives her time to the Philippine Heritage Dance group, helping keep traditions alive and meaningful for the next generation. And in between all the volunteering and sideline cheering, Del Barrio carves out little moments for herself—whether it’s discovering and supporting new restaurants as a self-proclaimed foodie, swaying to live music, or rolling out her yoga mat for a bit of much-needed restoration.
