As Chief Operations and Strategy Officer, Lisa Segler is responsible for advancing identified short, medium, and long-term anti-hunger strategies necessary for the organization to achieve a hunger-free community. In addition, she oversees multiple departments that focus on special populations by connecting the unconnected to food and other resources through strategic programming, innovative partnerships, research, education, and policy. Segler drives new research to improve the understanding of the barriers and facilitators of food security to end hunger in Southern Nevada and spearheads equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts.

She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a Ph.D. in Public Health and a Master of Public Health degree. She brings almost two decades of public health work, leadership, research, and partnership-building to her role. During her first five years at Three Square, Segler built the Senior Hunger Programs department from the ground up as Director of Senior Hunger Programs, then went on to lead multiple departments as Director of Strategic Initiatives. Prior to joining Three Square, she previously worked on health issues concerning aging adults, health equity, and childhood nutrition. Segler is proud to call Las Vegas home while raising her fourth-generation Southern Nevadan children with her husband.
