Las Vegas Restaurant Week Raises $380,930 Benefitting Three Square Food Bank

Three Square’s Annual Hunger Campaign Provides over One Million Meals for Food-Insecure Individuals in Southern Nevada

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 17, 2024 – Through the help of Las Vegas’ culinary community and food enthusiasts, Three Square Food Bank announced a total of $380,930 was raised during Las Vegas Restaurant Week, equating to 1,142,440 meals, which will be provided for more than 340,000 food-insecure valley residents.

More than 7 million meals have been provided for those facing food insecurity through Las Vegas Restaurant Week since 2007. This year, the 12-day epicurean event welcomed more than 260 participating restaurants and foodservice businesses and a total of 62,429 patrons supported the cause.

“Las Vegas Restaurant Week has become essential in our fight against hunger, and we are deeply grateful for the support from the hundreds of participating restaurants and the many dining patrons across the Las Vegas Valley,” said Beth Martino, President and CEO of Three Square Food Bank. “Access to nutritious meals should be a reality for everyone, and this campaign has been instrumental in our continued mission to end hunger in Southern Nevada.”

From June 3-14, participating restaurants across the valley offered three-course prix-fixe menus at price points ranging from $20 to $120 with $4, $5 or $6 from each cover donated to Three Square. Special promotions were also offered by participating foodservice businesses with a fixed portion of proceeds donated. Additionally, 144 restaurants and foodservice businesses extended their participation in Las Vegas Restaurant Week through June 21.

To celebrate the participants and top earners, the Palms Casino Resort graciously hosted the inaugural Restaurant Week wrap party and award ceremony inside Greene St. Kitchen. This year’s top earners in the restaurant category include 1228 Main, Golden Steer Steakhouse, Momofuku, Mon Ami Gabi, Peter Luger Steak House, and The Pepper Club by Todd English, with honorable mentions Emmitt’s Vegas, Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano, and La Pizza & La Pasta. Evel Pie, Flight Club, and Milk Bar were top earners in the Special Promotion category. Increasing the impact of this year’s event included Tito’s Handmade Vodka, serving as the official sponsor of Las Vegas Restaurant Week 2024.

One in seven Southern Nevadans struggles with hunger, which includes more than 115,000 children (or one in five).
