LAS VEGAS, April 4, 2023 – Three Square Food Bank has announced the promotion of philanthropy veteran, Lisa Segler, PhD, to chief strategy officer.
Previously the director of strategic initiatives at Three Square, Segler brings nearly two decades of experience in public health work, leadership, research and partnership building to her new role. Segler is responsible for advancing various anti-hunger strategies for the organization to achieve a hunger-free community in Southern Nevada, in addition to overseeing multiple departments that focus on connecting community members to food and other resources. “We are thrilled that Lisa will be continuing her incredible journey on Three Square’s executive team,” said Three Square Interim President and CEO Michelle Beck. “Her genuine compassion for Southern Nevada’s community is inspiring, and we are confident that through Lisa’s leadership and expertise, she will continue to go above and beyond to help lead the charge in ending hunger.”
Prior to joining Three Square, Segler worked on health issues concerning aging adults, health equity, and childhood nutrition. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a doctorate in public health and a Master’s degree in Public Health.
Segler is proud to call Las Vegas her home and is currently raising her fourth-generation Southern Nevadan children with her husband.
