Three Square Launches Emergency Food Response to Meet Growing Need

Food bank opens donation site, expands distributions with partners, and calls on Southern Nevadans to help feed neighbors

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 28, 2025 – Families across Southern Nevada are experiencing food insecurity, many for the first time, as the government shutdown continues. In response to the growing need, Three Square Food Bank is expanding emergency relief efforts to ensure no neighbor goes hungry.

How Three Square is responding:

  • Opening the Agency Market as a temporary emergency community donation site.
  • Partnering with community partners to add drive-thru Emergency Food Relief Distribution locations.
  • Increasing food supplies to partners so they can serve more families.

“Uncertain times can push more households into food insecurity, many for the first time,” said Beth Martino, President & CEO of Three Square Food Bank. “Thankfully, Southern Nevadans take care of one another, and no matter what, Three Square will be here for our neighbors, doing all we can to create a hunger-free community.”

How you can help:

  • Donate food: Drop off items at Three Square’s Agency Market, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM (4190 N. Pecos Road, Las Vegas, NV 89115).
Requested items: canned proteins, canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, rice, pasta, beans, and ready-to-eat meals.
  • Donate time: Sign up to volunteer, because it takes a community to feed our community.
  • Donate funds: Donate at threesquare.org/donate to allow Three Square to purchase food in bulk and deliver more meals where they are needed most.
