LAS VEGAS, Dec. 4, 2023 – Three Square Food Bank has announced Edmund Wong as Chief Operating Officer, where he joins the non-profit organization’s executive team.

In his new role, Wong oversees organizational growth within Three Square with an emphasis on helping to build upon operations and culture. He is directly responsible for expanding Three Square’s mission of providing wholesome food to hungry people throughout Southern Nevada, increasing the organization’s food procurement and warehousing as well as assuring the quality of food distributed to agency partners.

“We are honored to have Edmund join our team,” said Beth Martino, president and CEO of Three Square Food Bank. “Edmund has incredible knowledge and first-hand leadership experience in the food and beverage industry, combined with a tremendous heart. He is a valuable addition to our team as we work to provide crucial assistance to our community’s food insecure.”


LAS VEGAS (KSNV), Nov. 24, 2023 — The Las Vegas Raiders stepped off the field to serve a warm plate for those in need this holiday season. The team joined Three Square Food Bank to donate 600 meals to individuals and families ahead of Thanksgiving.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV), Nov. 22, 2023 — With the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix in the rearview mirror, the cleanup is underway — and that means there is a whole lot of leftover food from the event.

After one of the biggest events in the city's history, Grand Prix officials say they wanted to make sure that food ended up in a good place. Meaning Three Square has something extra to be thankful for this week, as dozens of pallets of food are delivered to the bank.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS), Nov. 3, 2023 — Meet Nolga Valadez: a Las Vegan with Cuban beginnings, and now, one of the first people to secure tickets to Super Bowl LVIII.

Over 200 Southern Nevadan Charities that feed the hungry receive fresh and non-perishable foods from Three Square, the nonprofit that Valadez is senior outreach manager for.

Colleagues describe her as the heart of Three Square’s Las Vegas center, with a dedication from abolishing language barriers to providing services to primarily Spanish-speaking “neighbors,” as they call those they assist. Her coworker, Rosa Martinez, said she takes that title a step further.
