43 strategically chosen sites throughout the valley will serve as Emergency Food Distribution sites

LAS VEGAS, March 16, 2020 – In response to recent developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus), Three Square Food Bank– in partnership with Clark County School District and local agency partners – have put the following strategies in place to ensure food-insecure individuals throughout Southern Nevada still have access to food during these uncertain times:

January 21, 2020

Carlos Santana returns to Three Square to see the growth the facility has experienced since his last visit in 2015. Santana has been a longtime supporter of Three Square through his foundation, the Milagro Foundation, and his band has donated hours of time over the years volunteering at the food bank.

January 15, 2020

Three Square has collaborated with New Beginnings Ministries to combat hunger and social isolation amongst seniors. Older adults (60+) along with their spouses can enjoy a free, wholesome meal, make new friends and gain access to community resources Monday–Friday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Anyone under the age of 60 is welcome to enjoy a meal for $3.

Three Square volunteer Daniel Fludd was selected to be KTNV’s Vegas Stronger Champion in January. Daniel has volunteered in the kitchen five days a week since August 2019, and in a short period of time he has already volunteered over 500 hours of service.
