Three Square's Programs Director, Dorian Stonebarger, appeared on NBC KSNV News 3 to share details about the Powered By Breakfast program that supports the efforts of CCSD schools in implementing "Breakfast After the Bell," and helping children succeed in school. Dorian discussed the outreach efforts designed to generate awareness for families that might not know about the program, which is sponsored by Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign.

In 2015, Three Square launched the "Powered by Breakfast" campaign to support the Clark County School District Food Service in implementing the Breakfast After the Bell Program. The program allows schools with a free and reduced-price lunch eligibility rate of 70 percent or greater to serve free breakfast to all their students.

Although Las Vegas is one of the top culinary destinations in the world, we must acknowledge the more than 296,000 food insecure people who live here. They don't always know where their next meal is coming from, and that is a real problem.

Sisters Claire and Charlotte decided to sell lemonade to help feed families during the holiday season. With the help of their family and friends, the two young entrepreneurs have raised nearly $600 for Three Square. Their lemonade sales not only quenched thirst, but also put 1,800 meals back into the community. We interviewed their mother, Lindsey, to learn more about her daughters and what inspired them to help others.
